If all the Arabian Peninsula people were consulted on the unification of the six GCC states and whether their union  is to be on the same lines as the European Union, the vast majority will vote a yes. For a very simple reason, it is the only logical and viable route for our security and continuity in the GCC. Demonstrations in Tehran last month against the confederation of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain are like intrusion into our own house from the kitchen back door. It is well understood that these marches are government led. Majority of Iran’s people (half of them not Iranians) are concerned with their own freedom from the clergy-based oppressive regime. The memory of young Neda Soltan, although vanished from media machine, has not really vanished from the conscious of so many people. Brutal death of Soltan is only an example of the ruthlessness of the current rulers of Iran who killed and tortured thousands of people in the overpopulated prisons of the Revolutionary Guards and other security apparatuses in Iran. The Iranian political commodity has been for sale for some time, a carefully hand woven Persian rug , decorated with religious images and historical symbols of martyrdom . It did attract the attention of  Arabs in the Arabian Peninsula  in 1979 but over the last thirty years it only proved to be a false piece of antique imported from a mass production factory in China. Rulers of Iran are not only killing their own people but helping the Assad regime to conduct massacres against the people in Syria .The vast majority of the Arabs in the GCC find the lines of this extra decorated Iranian rug rather visually and mentally blaring .
